Worked great. The only thing I have noticed is if the laptop was in hibernate mode, I had to insert, remove and then re-insert the card for it to be seen by the computer. Quatech serial cards are the gold standard for this sort of thing.
If you need to run that driver on a computer with no built-in serial port, get a UIC. I use the Quatech DSP for serial protocol analysis all the time. It always works.
